HOW IT WORKS
JOIN REFERRER.COM.AU
Create an account with Referrer.com.au by clicking “JOIN”. Once you’re registered you’ll be able to log in and see your referral dashboard and update your profile to include bank accounts and corporate details.
REGISTER A REFERRAL
Simply click “add referral” and complete the owners details. Name, Phone, Email, Property Address and Weekly rental and you’re done!
You can then track the progress of your referral by clicking on the milestone tracker in your account. Here you’ll see how we’re progressing and when your referral commission is due to be paid.
CONTACT OWNER
In your Referrer.com.au tool kit is a template email which is used to introduce your strategic partnership with property management. We send this email from your email address meaning you’ll never have issues with privacy act “explicit consent” – we will only ever contact your client directly AFTER they have responded and requested we do so. Until that time – all communication is on your behalf.
AGENT CONTACTED
Once your property investor has confirmed our engagement, we handle the entire transfer process.
We notify your tenant, the previous property manager and any other relevant parties. We’ll work with your previous agent to smoothly transition your file and hand over the keys.
If your previous agency agreement requires a notice period, we’ll give that notice on your behalf. This is typically only a 30 day period, we start managing your property once that notice period has expired.
We charge you nothing until we officially start managing your property.
TENANT CONTACTED
Once we have the management files from the outgoing agent – your new property manager will contract your tenant and advise how they will be paying the rent from the handover day.
This is also an opportunity to “touch base” to find out if there are any outstanding management issues or concerns the tenant may have.
COMMISSIONS PAID
Once handover is complete, your referrer dashboard will be updated with your referral commission – being one weeks rent on the property referred.
It will cost you $0 up front & nothing going forward.
We will not cross sell any financial services, including mortgage, car loans, personal loans, and income protection or life insurance products – guaranteed!
We won’t on sell your clients details to any third party (as per our privacy policy).
We will provide a written guarantee outlining that if you’re not happy with our services that you can take your client elsewhere, no locked-in contract!
